Yeah, I heard it on the radio this morning.
For some reason I'm always amazed when a lineman is articulate. I shouldn't be; it's not uncommon at all.

An episode of Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel recently had a segment about "fans" of sports, which did a special focus on the beating of Bryan Stow at the Dodgers/Giants game. Fascinating and incredibly disturbing too. I'm not a super big football fan, but I hope Cassel is OK.

Every sports team has their share of douchebag fans, even our Yankees - but like I told a couple of friends of mine(one Mets fan, one Red Sox fan) there's a big difference between the 'fan' and the 'fanatic' and neither gives you the right to act like rabid animals. I don't get why certain fans feel that they have this blinding sense of entitlement to defend their turf/teams by bullying, beating, throwing bottles and especially cheering an injury to an opposing player. It's sickening.

Jets fans can't even win at being the most classless fans in the league anymore. For shame.

Terry Bradshaw early on wasn't very good, gut injured and Steelers fans cheered his injury. But I think in the end he turned out o.k.

Utterly classless.
