[9] Can't do that. I mean, you could, but then Granderson would have to pitch. I don't think that would work out well. Though it would certainly be unconventional! Hm, and entertaining -- imagine CC playing centerfield.

Just kidding by the way. I know the DH can only hit for the pitcher, but one can still dream.

The Yanks should do something unconventional in this game.

CC is a pretty decent hitter.

They should use the DH for Grandy and stick in Ibanez.

[6] Nothing would really surprise me, even a Granderson homer. Really.

On the one hand, the feeling from the last two games is that CC has to pitch well enough for us to beat the Orioles 0 to -1. I bet he could do it.

But then on the other hand, a strange wave of calm came over me this afternoon and I keep thinking what an amazing series this has been. Now the only down emotion I have is that it might be over too soon. Not the series -- I mean baseball.

All four DS are going (or have gone) the distance! Never happened before. Very cool.

Get both Chavez and Ibanez into the starting line up today, they have shown they can make contact and at least make a hard out.
Sit Alex: whiffing on two consecutive O'day fast balls both well under 90mph and both nearly in the same location is enough reason to sit him. Think even Granderson would have fouled off one of them.

I feel like everything is on the table tonight, no idea if they have the abilty to hit and score. No idea if they've used up all the good pitching they were going to get this series. Ditto from the Orioles.

The only thing that would surprise me is Granderson or Arod hitting a homer. I feel like they are 20 steps removed from the abilty to hit a home run against a MLB pitcher right now. I expect both of them to be on the bench tonight.

If the Yanks can break it open tonight and get the bats going, hopefully it will carry into the ALCS.

Last night was so frustrating. The whole Yankee offense looks lost right now and wasted a great pitching performance. Then again, the O's are scuffling to score too.

Grandy looks absolutely lost at the plate, and when they win tonight, he will hopefully get his dander up while facing his former team, and knock some balls out.

Cano was seeing beachballs before this series, and the days off, cooled off his bat.

Yanks got to shake things up, and shake off their funk. Wake the funk up!!! Game 5, bring it home CC!

I'm cranky after a loss during less important times. Being a fan is emotionally exhausting. I hope the Yankees play with passion and resolve. I hope they don't press and whiff. I am at my quota for strikeouts and weak grounders.

No more 0-6s. I'm looking at you, Grandy, Swisher and Cano. Oh, and tired, slow A-Rod, who I am actually feeling sorry for.

Bring on the Scoretruck.

Cranky right there with you. And we had CC lined up with the Tiggers #2, now we have to burn him today. Plus Detroit gets to rest today, while Derek has to be in the lineup and the ACLS starts tomorrow.

At least Phil Hughes pitched well last night.
