We were slammed. Lucky to be on the Upper West Side. I can't say that for other friends and family. I am a native New Yorker and In my lifetime, we were never in a situation that required more than one day off from school. A week? Unprecedented. 26 dead in NYC alone. Vernon the main streets have power, but the residential streets don't. Go figure.
