There have been 90 40-save seasons since 2000. 6 of those are Mo's. 47 different pitchers. I hope to hell Mo comes back for one more year, saves 40+ and gets a proper farewell (and another ring?), but if he doesn't, then rather than start paying $15M to Soriano, Cashman should try to start finding the next couple Storne/Kimbrel/Fuentes... At some point, post-Mo, the Yankees, as an intelligent team, are going to begin putting into practice the idea that an effective closer need not be a highly paid superstar.
