Pastrami on rye, mustard, matzoh ball zoup, and a Dr. Brown's black cherry. I'd always bring home the left-over half pound of meat for a Saturday sandwich. I was still going there fairly regularly when my office moved down to W 45th. Haven't been there in over two years since I changed jobs. I loved that place. I loved Gallagher's too. Didn't know either of them were shutting down. This is sad news. Two midtown institutions gone. I worked around the corner from the Stage from ’02-’05, and was a regular for take-out on Fridays.
