I hate Cashman is seemingly pursuing old players to fill the bench while cheaper talent wastes away in the minors. I'm surmising that he is trying to save money to get under their threshold, but considering what Berkman signed for, it makes absolutely no sense beyond him being RH hitter. I'll still watch to root against the Pats, Ravens, Broncos, Colts, Bengals, Seahawks, and 49ers, So that leaves only 3 NFC teams for me. lol.... Around 12:30 this afternoon I thought how nice it would be if there was a baseball game on in a half hour. No Berkman? Good. Who will be the next old fogey to be bandied about?
