[7] I hate when people do that, too. I can understand it if you have to take your kid to the bathroom or something, but for the most part, you should wait until the inning is over.

I was at one ballpark where the jerks in the front row stood up for long goodbyes every time someone got up to leave. I’m talking hugging, kissing, and standing around for several minutes. I’ve seen mothers sending their kids off to Iraq with less fanfare. And it’s not like anyone was leaving permanently. They did it every time one of their group got up to go get a beer, smoke a cigarette, go to the bathroom, etc.

[4] The large versions of the photos have the EXIF date included. It tells you what camera was used, what focal length, aperture, shutter speed, exposure, etc.

I use a Firefox extension called Exif Viewer to look at it (because I’m something of a photography nerd). It lets you right-click to “view EXIF data” – if it’s included. (Many people remove the EXIF data for bandwidth reasons.)

[7] indeed. it downright stinks having to let people in and out all game. I was shocked, too, that so many people chill out in the bars–especially the exclusive ones–and watch the game on TV. I mean, isn’t that a little like living on 5th Ave with huge, overlooking windows, and sitting in the other room watching the parade on TV? strange…

Course, things change when you’re a parent, and I understand that completely. All too well.

i am hoping to try the shake shack at madison sq park since it is right near my job – but going to a ball game and standing on line for 40 minutes seems lame – seems you should want to watch the game.
that was another thing that annoyed the hell out of me at least night’s game – i probably got up 25-30 times during the game to let some pass by me to go get something to eat or drink, or go to the bathroom, or look for friends – i think only 5 of those times were in between innings.

[4] well, melky did get the start in right today for the bravos. heyward has a sore finger. i saw the melkman make a nice throw to nab a runner at home. he also had a hit and i think he homered yesterday. i’m glad i can keep an eye on him here in hotlanta…

Mmmm. That food shot looks great. There’s no way I would ever wait in line 40 minutes for a burger, but it’s a gorgeous photo.

(Your camera does f/2.8 and 5mm? Dang. I’ll have to check that out. I’ve been looking for a better point and shoot.)

Dunno. I'm sipping homemade Arnold Palmer all day. I skin the lemons and then throw 'em in the blender. The pulp is an added bonus.
