I think it’s not too late to solve Joba’s pitching problems which I believe are Torre/Girardi/Eiland related to begin with. At least let the new pitching coach try to do something with him before you cast him to the fates. I mostly blame the Yanks hierarchy for Joba’s downfall, but tossing him away like so many people are chanting for would be an even bigger mistake.

… has a better career WHIP
… who is younbg and has only pitched in the AL
