the following clip is of two drumming masters, playing &quot;salt peanuts&quot; with brushes!

maynard ferguson had some great &#039;salt peanuts&#039; quotes on a live record of his from 1983.

i always loved playing this or quoting it in &#039;trading&#039;, with various jazz combos i&#039;ve worked with.

the &#039;massey hall&#039; performance w/ bird, diz, bud, mingus &#038; max is historically great!
