He was a solid guy from what I could tell and with some better personnel in place now he could rediscover some of his old magic here. Provided Cash can get off his duff or doesn’t come across some legit medical reason not to sign him. At the least he can very likely push A.J to number 4 by mid-season.

At least the prevailing feeling is that the Sox are old news already and it’s time to move on (ignore) to “greener” pastures. I used to be outraged, but what can I do; I can’t move them to Independence, Missouri. Just ignore them for the most part. Sometimes it makes me laugh. Sometimes I listen to the radio station for laughs, and they even have moments of clarity from time to time, but other than that it’s unabashedly revenue and gambling-oriented.

I always liked Wang. Glad to see he’s doing well. He doesn’t have quite the velocity I remember, but he’s pitching well enough that the Nats are going to offer him an extension.

He also got a hit and a RBI today. The first of his career.
