Forest Whitaker was my favorite actor at the time. I know “Color of Money” was his first big gig, but then “Good Morning Vietnam”, “Platoon”, and of course “Bird” (can’t remember what order). I lost track of him after that.
“The Color of Money” was so good, it was a worthy sequel to “The Hustler”, and that doesn’t happen so much.

Hah! I just watched The Color of Money again the other night for the first time in years. I loved that guy as Grady Seasons. He was a real pool player, but it was a fictitious name – real name was Keith McCready. He wore some seriously hideous outfits in that flick.

Holy crap. I drove to a fourth party and had the game on the radio. We got there around the top of the 6th with the Yanks down 1-0 still. It’s crazy reading a game recap and not being sure of the outcome. Whatta comeback!
