I was surprised how disappointed I was. I always loved Melky when he was on the team. I wasn’t that broken up when he left, but was definitely happy to see him have success last year with the Royals and especially this year in San Francisco. I sure wish this hadn’t happened.

On the one hand, he probably cost himself a forty to fifty million dollar contract. On the other, perhaps he wouldn’t have been in the position to expect a contract like that…

Poor Melky.
