Check it out!

Hittin’ The Note is an excellent magazine for this style of music.

Butch *still* digs sci-fi stuff.

His first wife Linda is the greatest thing ever, so that bothered me that she was made fun of. I love her dearly and she raised the two best children of all-time. I was honored to headline a festival honoring her last fall!

Haven’t seen Bunky Odom’s name in ages. He was the manager of the first Atlanta band I played in and toured with.

I can understand why the band hates it.
The problem with “Hitting The Note” for me is that it’s all one note.
It’s only about the boredom and dabauchery of a band on the road. That’s fine for a few paragraphs, but the piece doesn’t go any deeper than fly-on the-wall observation.
Obviously, the band didn’t have much to say to the writer, and the writer didn’t think much of the band or his time with the players.
There’s so much soul and energy on those early records, and the guys who made that music had to have been deeper, and more interesting than the coked-up, brain-dead douchebags they’re portrayed to be.
