I have the chance to drive down to catch the Vermont Lake Monsters play (Oakland A’s short season A level team). The most convenient game is against the Mets team from Brooklyn, but I may be able to see the Staten Island Yankees on another day.

Actually I don’t much care whom I see—it will be fun just to catch a ballgame with some friends. But is it worth it for me to try to see the Staten Island team? Who’s on it that’s worth watching, or have all the real prospects moved on to the next level by this point in the summer?

But it was close until the bottom of the eighth, so it had the tense feel.
