Ok, so this cuts both ways on Pineda. If you’re the Yanks you’re glad you know now, so you can do something about it. But, on the other hand, perhaps you could have found a way to keep it quiet for one more day so that other teams wouldn’t know it too and gain extra leverage. Hell, I don’t know — scratch him and say he’s going to deal with a personal matter.

If the Yanks aren’t going to trade Luis Severino, then I think now is the perfect time to bite the bullet and call up Luis Severino until Pineda gets back.

Jays are nuts! 12 starts from Price and they give up so much. They are a .500 team with all right handed batters.
Ackley was considered the best hitting prospect in the 2009 draft. No one has been able to get him going. Yanks take a shot.
