The Dodgers ownership and management are certainly showing brilliance and creativity in going about getting what they want. I seem to recall a team I rooted for operating that way...the name escapes me now. 

What&#039;s galling me the most is that the Yanks have not spent one penny on a free agent yet. One of only 4 teams in the MLB with that dubious distinction, as you all must have read. 

Shouldn&#039;t signing a top free agent starter (or two) be top priority now? They are out there, but the list is growing smaller by the minute. 

I just can&#039;t understand what they are thinking? What&#039;s the plan?
