Kick ‘Em in the Grill, Pete

In today’s Daily News, Michael O’Keeffe has a long profile on Peter Nash’s (formerly Pete Nice) bitter dispute with Rob Lifson, the president of Robert Edward Auctions. And you thought things got tense with Serch. Yikes.

Manny and Papi on the juicers list with A-Rod. What a shock.

And Joel Sherman says the Yanks are interested in Corey Patterson. Ugh. Please, not Corey Patterson. Where's Bronson Sardinha when you need him?

[1] Uggh to both.

Initially I argued against calling up AJax as Gardner's replacement, but I have come around to the idea--I can't believe it would hurt his development to get some innings as a defensive replacement, and maybe a few ABs over the next couple of weeks.

Of course, I would also go with an 11 man staff and call up Duncan as well, but that's another story.

[1] Wow.
Esp. Papi.

I mean, nobody is going to be shocked, but wow.
And RSN teeters closer to the brink of panic...

I will say, after MLB Network had a week of coverage on A-Rod (and rightfully so) it is somewhat disappointing that Big Pop-up only warrants a crawl at the bottom of a documentary on Dodger Stadium.
