The New YorkPost ^[1] is reporting that Popeye Zimmer ^[2] is close to signing on as a bench coach for Lou Pinella and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. I’m sure Lou would love to tweak his old friend George by having Zim on his bench. It’d be the He-Man-George-Hater-Club.
