The Angels swept the A’s over the weekend, so Oakland has something in common with the Bronx Bummers [1]. There are several articles [2] in the New York papers this morning delineating [3] the Yankees’ recent struggles [4]. Things of course could get worse, what with Tim Hudson, Mark Mulder and Barry Zito [5] scheduled to pitch for the A’s this week.

I’m not going to be able to post tomorrow morning so make sure to read Cliff Corcoran [6], or any of the other fine Yankee-based sites listed on the right. For the Oakland perspective, make sure to check out Baysball [7], Athletics Nation [8], and our old friends over at Elephants in Oakland [9].
