The World Serious moves to St. Louis tonight. If the Cards can’t win behind their ace, Chris Carpenter ^[1]–who has been terrific at home this year–they am in deep doo doo. For you history buffs, I’ve got a write-up ^[2] of the 1968 Serious between the Cards and Tigers over at SI.com.
