Ah, those RBI. They are the magic numbers that propelled Justin Morneau ahead of his more deserving teammates Johan Santana, and Joe Mauer–not to mention Derek Jeter–today as Minnie’s first baseman wins the AL MVP ^[1]. Congrats to Morneau. Otherwise, this is a bum call.
