The Yankee offense did a decent job against D. Matsuzaka ^[1] for the second time in a week, but Boston’s bullpen was excellent and New York’s pitching was absolute horses*** ^[2] as the Red Sox ^[3] rolled 11-4 ^[4]. Andy Pettitte ^[5] was lousy and, adding insult to injury, Mariano Rivera ^[6] was even worse. That makes it seven losses in a row for the Yanks. I guess it can get worse.

I know Steinbrenner ^[7] isn’t what he once was, but if this keeps up, would anyone really be suprised if heads roll?
