Jose Canseco’s best bud ^[1], Alex Rodriguez spoke to reporters just hours before the Mitchell Report was released yesterday. Tyler Kepner ^[2] has the details.

I haven’t read the Mitchell Report so I can’t offer any kind of educated analysis. In reading through the New York papers this morning, I haven’t found many really good takes on it either, though Tim Marchman’s column is good. ^[3] Howard Bryant ^[4] and John Helyar ^[5] offer solid work at ESPN.
