A tweet from Ken Rosenthal: Teixeira left wrist looked OK in X-ray. MRI today. Should not affect Yanks' trade plans. Still want defensive 3B.

From the Yankees PR Dept: Teixeira MRI today. Results show no structural damage. Diagnosed with inflammation of L wrist and had cortisone shot. Reevaluation in 3 days

if Teix swings with just his right hand he'll have better results than Russell Martin.

[2] Which means he is out at least 4 days? Maybe longer? Our lineup is looking pretty thin. We are one injury away from blowing our lead.

Victorino to L.A., Pence to S.F. Dempster said to be going to L.A., too. ..

5 straight division winners and now Philly is in firesale mode, with some big contracts still left?

Dempster maybe? Nine minutes left.

Yankees are now the proud owner of a something called a "Casey McGehee" ... even better, they are no longer the owner of thing called a "Chad Qualls"!

[14] McGehee was pretty solid for the Brewers a few years ago, as a power hitting 3rd baseman. Last couple of years he's struggled at the plate, and this year he played mostly 1st base.
