Tough day for baseball legends. Stan Musial is dead. He was 92.

when i got a computer and started researching tons and tons of baseball news, stats and history, i became drawn to Stan Musial. of the old all-time greats who weren't Yankees, he became "my guy."

my brother and i had a lot of fun watching Earl Weaver while we were growing up.

tough day for baseball legends, indeed.

No disrespect to Earl Weaver, but I wish Musial wouldn't have to share headlines tomorrow. Earl Weaver was a great manager, but he wasn't Stan The Man. One more from the short list is gone.

another thing about Musial - his surname is one letter away from musical! i dig that.

he blew a pretty mean harmonica, too : )

Musial's career stats are incredible.
Love the story about him leading a conga line inand out of bars in New Orleans during the Super Bowl!
