Yankee notes from the man, Chad Jennings: here, here and here.

Musty played so hard his injury may have cost him the 25-man position he had probably won.
Loved Araton in the NYT this morning. Went back to the old geezers like me. We smell a rat and wince. You newbies think everything is peachy and keen. Lyle Overbay. Give me a break. Bring up some kids. What kids? Where are the kids? How much better are the Yankees than the Astros?
I do take issue with Araton's point about the Yankees pitching. I don't think they have pitching either. But as my old friend Jim Wexler is quoted as saying, they still have Mo to honor to get everyone to forget the season.
I look forward to reading the box scores, looking at the stick drek, until A-Rod comes back and the drama begins.
Front page of the Times today. Waste of paper and ink.
