Johnny Bench as one of the four greatest living ball players. - I think not! Hometown hi jinks.

I know Yogi is too fragile to travel, but isn't he one of the greatest living players? Or at least the most successful living player with 10 rings?

Bill James lists Yogi over Johnny, but this was a fan vote. I guess the voters could only choose from the "franchise four" and Yogi didn't crack that list. Babe, Lou, Joe and Mickey.

Koufax and Bench over Bonds, Rickey!, Pedro, Clemens, R.Johnson, A-Rod, Jeter, Trout???? Who votes for these things?

[4] I know it's sacrilege to say this, and as a young kid I thought Mickey a god. But, I now believe Mo is now #4 on the Yankees all time list. The team probably doesn't win any of those championships without him.

I don't get it. You can't run on strike three if first base is occupied.

Isn't that a rule?

Ah. Just looked it up. Apparently you can run with first base occupied if there are two outs.

Learn something new every day.

Starters still in in the fifth. I guess the managers are taking the game more seriously

How was the All-Snore Game? Didn't see a second. Didn't read about it or watch on single highlight. Zero interest this year, even though "it counts" (*?*)

Youse guys are my only source.

[12] Neither did I. I hate this ASG pause.

[13] tex and Gardt were a combined 0-4, both struck out. Dellin did his thing.
