Oops, ya forgot to set the time back one hour >;)

I guess I'm the only one who saw the back page of the NY Daily Rues screaming about Pavano might be back (ack,ack,ack...) and that Peavy added the Yanks to the list of teams he would be willing to be traded to. Good luck on both counts... and I mean, take a long walk off a short pier...

i know - the clock thing has been freaking me out for a coupla days now! i keep thinking i'm gonna be late to work! : ~

peavy is a really really really really long shot. we're at the bottom of his list. his huge option would need to be picked up, then a probable extension. less would be required if he went to the halos. i find that to be a bit of bollocks. i'm tired of the yanks having to do so much extra for players since we're the yankees. they should be honored to wear the pinstripes!

good god, the pavano thing just won't go away. i truly hope cashman just counts his losses and cuts the ties. the rockies are apparently interested...

[2] They need to start paying attention to guys when they talk about where they come from and where they intend to go. I'm tired of players who only want to play for the Yanks after they get there, or after they sign a huge contract. But then, you have to project that mindstate that New York is the place to be, and I wonder if any of the coaches and FO folks even believe that anymore...

chyll - judging by the times of your posts, i'm thinking you are a man from the future! sooo, do we get CC, Tex and Moose back or is it AJ, Sheets and Pavano back? ; )

[5] (I'm gonna keep doing that until it's implemented here) I can say anything, but will anyone listen? I do predict the Knicks lose five before getting another win, but that's not much of a limb to climb >;)

Jake Peavy, GOING ON 28

2002 4.52 3.74 083 1.423
2003 4.11 3.94 096 1.310
2004 2.27 3.88 171 1.196
2005 2.88 3.85 134 1.044
2006 4.09 4.04 099 1.231
2007 2.54 4.04 159 1.061
2008 2.85 3.82 134 1.180
---+---+-----+---+---+-----+-----+----+-----+
07 Yr 3.25 3.92 121 1.186

He has always picthed in SD, NL West., a weak htting division.
The last 3 years, has average a very inconsistant ERA+ of: 131
What happened in 2006? Injury?
Over last 6 years, he has averaged around 190 IP, low of: 166.3

How would you thnk that ERA+ of 131 translates to the AL EAST? 125? 120?
How about playing with the Yanks terrible defense, subtract another .02-.05 points.
So is his Yankees ERA+ around 122?
Would you guys be surprised if for the Yankees in 2009, He posted an ERA+ of 122? Expect more?

Wang has a carrer ERA+ of: 116

[6] awesome! i've been repeating it, as well. but, at this point, i feel like i've been bitching too much and am a pain in the arse. then again, everything here at the new site has been fixed up on the spot and running great. i know alex has a side project going on and i'm sure cliff is crazy busy too. the clock will get fixed asap, i'm sure...
