Taxi really was a great show, and the way the car never gets across the bridge in the opening just kills me.

[1] saw the original in the UK..funny but many of the jokes over my head

Alex: “Slow down.”
Reverend Jim: “What . . . does . . . a yellow . . . light . . . mean?”
