Mr. DeMille, I’m Ready for my Close Up

Drama.

Oh, the drama.

Alex Rodriguez will address the media tomorrow afternoon and word is, his teammates will be there behind him. Even by Bronx Zoo standards, this is beyond boffo.

I predict Derek Jeter, Rivera and Posada will take this time to announce they have all been taking HGH and Deca, supplied by Joe Torre. Ok, not really, I do expect Alex to put his foot in his mouth though. I just hope he doesn't start talking with a fake British accent.

Hopefully its just the usual A-Rod stupidity. If he sticks to his usual mindlessness, it won't be so bad. If he says something new and stupid, it will be a story for weeks.

[0] "I'm still big, it's the pictures that got small!"

[1] Bada-bing! I hope he spends the whole session rejecting roids and extolling the virtues of yoga and Kabbalah..good way to bore the press away

this press conference doesn't need dialogue, it will have FACES!

Geez, what more does he need to say?

ARod would get all the respect in the world from me if he walks up to the podium and his favorite song (before every home at-bat) is playing loudly in the background:

This is why I'm hot
This is why
This is why I'm hot
This is why I'm hot
This is why
This is why I'm hot

I'm hot cause I'm fly
You ain't cause you're not
This is why
This is why I'm hot

[1] Hilarious. I certainly hope Alex doesn't take PR advice from Madonna.

Tomorrow promises to be a bundle of laughs; more lies, half truths and being sorry that he was caught.

When the camera is on Jeter, Posada, Cashman, Girardi, etc., I plan to fill in the bubbles over their heads to entertain myself.

Is it safe to say that most folks are just ready to move on from this clusterfu%$#? The media is just cramming it down our throats. Bleh.

Its a story. I can't really blame the media for this. I just hope Alex is sedated or something tomorrow so he doesn't extend the story any further.

I just want him to come clean about what he did, and not drag anyone else's name out there.
