Yo man, you have to start making your own ice cream this summer. Nothing beats it and you get to experiment. And if you like simple, tasty is a fresh vanilla bean, esp with fresh berries.

We like this one as it has a pull handle. Just have to remember to keep the bowl in the freezer. I'm eyeing the deluxe Williams-Sonoma versions with freezer bowl built in, but they're over $300. That's alot of ice cream.

WOW. I remember making Ice cream as a kid. Lots of physical work from what I recall. But this sounds like a good idear....

Dude, it's as easy as cake. You mix the ingredients, throw them in the bowl, turn it on, and watch it freeze. If you really want to get fancy, you create a custard and stick it in the fridge overnight. Normal ice cream just doesn't taste the same to me any more. Haagen-Daz is on par. Wait until you start making your own whipped cream and hot fudge sauce!

[1,2,3] Yep, homemade ice cream is the best. As for hard work, maybe if you have an old 1920s era manual churner. Since most modern ice cream makers run on e-lec-tricity, it's usually not so much work!

LOL, yeah, it was a manual deal. NICE

Yeah, I think the manual ones are given to kids specifically to tire them out.

Wait until you do the home version. It's like your mind opens wide and you see the way it is supposed to be.

[7] Nope, when you add in the hot fudge and whipped cream you just have to accept the food coma!
