There are few actors who can make an audience happier simply by appearing on screen. Caine is one of them.

[2] Yeah, I recall thinking he was really good in that. I haven't seen it in years.

If anyone hasn't seen the original 1971 "Get Carter," I advise them to, asap.

At least he admits himself that he's been in some right stinkers.

[3] Okay, I realize my statement is grammatically gobbledygook, but you get the idea.

He's very good in "Last Orders," another knockout small-scale British working-class drama with a great cast.

One of my favorites, for sure. Doesn't he seem to have enjoyed his life?
