"A New York Treasure" --Village Voice

I Am Serious. And Don’t Call Me Shirley.

Rest in Peace, Leslie Nielsen. You know what? This was the first movie that popped into my head when I heard the news:

He gave us many a laugh, didn’t he?

The ump scenes is one of my all time favorites. He led a good one.
Here are some pics you might like, AB.

2) You won't be letdown. I remember when it aired and was so pissed when they took it off.

If my memory is correct, I believe Tommy Lasorda makes a guest appearance on one episode (as a shoeshine customer).

[0] AB ... great scene. I always had these scenes in my head when I umped Little League games, and I can tell you every time I hear the Star Spangled Banner before a sporting event, Enrico Pallazzo comes to mind. It did when I had my moment at UCLA 11 1/2 years ago. A great loss. I guess he had the fish.

This is probably my favorite scene from Police Squad! episodes. Nielsen is just brilliant here:
