Hey, via David Pinto, Craig Calcaterra:

A source close to Andy Pettitte tells me that there is a “very strong possibility” that Pettitte is going to pitch in 2011. He is doing his usual preseason workouts and has had no physical issues thus far.

Moreover, the source tells me that Pettitte’s hesitation to confirm that he is coming back for the upcoming season is in no way connected to the Roger Clemens trial, which was something that many had speculated about.

Just a rumor, but something to keep my spirits up. More goddam snow here. Driving was bad, kids probably won't have school tomorrow (we expect another ten inches overnight). Trade me to the freaking Padres, or at least let me go work in the Dominican in January and February.

I figure he'll come back too.

As soon as I heard last week he was getting into baseball shape "just in case," I was convinced it was only a matter of time before he came back. Now Heyman is tweeting that he "hears" the Yankees are likely to offer $12 million...this thing is really just a matter of time at this point.

I know its not this thread, but really enjoyed the Jonah Keri podcast Al! Especially the Lebowski stuff

3) Cool! It was flattering, and those who know me know I'm a totally blabbermouth! I got a little self conscious about it when we were done, but the other part of me is a totaly whore--I could chatter about movies all day long.
