Taster's Cherce

Next Monday, the Doughnut Plant will open a second location. This one will be in the Chelsea Hotel.

Be warned, these aren’t your average treats. They’re so stupid they’ll make you use a word that don’t mean nuthin…like looptid.

I've only seen this place in Tokyo. Never have made it down to the Grand St spot.

Second in NYC, I suppose; I saw a Doughnut Plant in Japan.

The Grand Street location is just a few blocks from my apartment. Their peanut butter and jelly doughnut is among the most delicious foodstuffs known to humans.

[5] I was working on a music video being shot at the Henry Street Settlement two weeks ago and walked past that location... why on earth would they be closed on a weekend when random people on the street were talking about how good their doughnuts were??

[0] Man, did you just drop a Humpty Dance reference? You're my hero!
[1] thelarmis..WTF??! :)
[2][3] There's a branch in Shinjuku Station but I only had it once..not too exciting and rather expensive. I'll stick with the local "Mister Donut".

[7] That's the one I saw, it seems to be tucked away in there. I was so busy eating everything else, I didn't bother going to the Doughnut Plant.

I miss Japan, I really need to go back soon. If I ever get a grip on the language, it's a wrap!

And I also won't confuse frog legs with buffalo wings....

I've just gained 10 pounds looking at that picture.

Thanks, man...
