Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs is the most underrated album in the "Classic Rock" Pantheon. Yeah, I have trouble sitting through the title track at this point, from overexposure, but the entire double album is flat-out brilliant. Probably the best work of Clapton's career, and Duane is sensational on it as well. What a great band - too bad drugs and bad vibes kept them from making more albums.
