All In

According to Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports, Alex Rodriguez addressed the team for 10 minutes.

Yanks and Phil are on the MLB Network this afternoon. Wallace Matthews at ESPN New York has the lineups.

Enjoy, y’all.

Woo hoo, game thread! Preseason, but none the less. Just make sure you don't strain fingers when typing.

Oh crud, it's the Phillies announcers.

[1] It's a beautiful thing! I checked out the Regular Season schedule yesterday and was happy to realize that thanks to an early spring break, I'll get to watch opening day AND the Yankee home opener in their entirety. Haven't been able to do that in about 15 years. : )

David Phelps, huh?
Could he be good?

9 RIYank   ~  Mar 3, 2012 2:10 pm

Well, he faced six guys. He struck one of them out, and against the other five he got five outs in five (total) pitches. He threw all eight of his pitches for strikes.

Promising.

Your mission, Mr. Phelps, should you decide to accept it...

Nice play Willis. Hope he's back.

Also, nice nap.

Hey... I don't need PBP, but a bit more detail would be helpful.

On the 'eeeeek' frontier:
The Carteret County Sheriff's Office said the 40-year-old [Brien] Taylor of Beaufort was arrested Thursday. A statement said undercover narcotics agents bought a large quantity of cocaine and crack cocaine from Taylor over several months.

[11] I'm actually watching -- it's on the MLBN.
Cole Garner kid looks good at the plate.

[13] And did you see what happened to him (Montero)? Two straight foul balls struck him under the mask, and the second one dropped him on his back, like an uppercut. Wedge says he's okay, though.

Tuned in just long enough to Nuñez further solidify his position for BUIF. And the Phillies announcers were pretty decent, I thought.

So, baseball is back. Sort of.
