Knicks vs Celtics! Spurs, bah.

I'm dodging snow flurries today, so I'll take any baseball I can get.

Ah, Michael Kay.

Right, my bad. Celts first, then Texas.

Man, Michael Kay. I'm not ready!

Hunter Pence, spring training GOD.

I'm watching hoops. Good game!

Knicks take the lead with 2 minutes to go in the first Q.

8 RIYank   ~  Mar 4, 2012 1:30 pm

29-27 lead at the quarter.

Too many whistles early in the second quarter.

Chandler with a couple of put-backs and the Knicks are in control.

J-Lin had a nice alley-oop to, uh, I forget -- Davis? But since then he's thrown the ball away a few times trying to drop a long pass over the D for an easy bucket.

Finally Lin to Melo for an easy pair, then the same play from the other side. Knicks by 11... then each team throws it away on a fast break.
Lin looks like maybe he's feeling the pressure, honestly. Not terrible, but he doesn't look like himself. About 3 minutes left in the half.

4 errors for the Phillies in not two games. Ah, early spring training.

13 RIYank   ~  Mar 4, 2012 1:58 pm

Paul Pierce can't cover Carmelo.

14 RIYank   ~  Mar 4, 2012 2:00 pm

Bullshit call of an offensive foul puts Lin on the bench. Damn.

15 RIYank   ~  Mar 4, 2012 2:05 pm

Last minute of the half, both teams look verrrrrry sloppy. They don't look like playoff teams. Boston closes some of the gap, and it's 56-51 at the half.

No Kay the Howard thing added injury to insult.

17 RIYank   ~  Mar 4, 2012 2:33 pm

Knicks come out confused in the second half. Ugh.

18 rbj   ~  Mar 4, 2012 3:03 pm

Dang 6 errors for the Phillies in not even two games.

19 rbj   ~  Mar 4, 2012 3:12 pm

Error #7. Phillies LFer did not clearly have it.

20 Alex Belth   ~  Mar 4, 2012 3:39 pm

Melo playing great down the stretch but missed a shot--tough shot--to win it. Going to OT....

21 RIYank   ~  Mar 4, 2012 3:46 pm

Can't believe they let Pierce take a 3 at the end of reg. I understand Carmelo not wanting to foul him, but...

22 Alex Belth   ~  Mar 4, 2012 4:06 pm

Lin got badly outplayed by Rondo.

23 rbj   ~  Mar 4, 2012 4:14 pm

Only one inning, but Strasburg looks good.

24 The Hawk   ~  Mar 4, 2012 4:15 pm

Hopefully the Knicks still have some improving to do (but do it quick!) ... They were THIS close. They can be a better team than the Celts, I think.

Lin was trying way too hard in the first half.

Man, Rondo's triple double was something special:18 points, 17 rebounds (!!!), and 20 assists. DAAAAAMMMN.

[25] Why on earth were the C's trying to trade him? Was that just hot air rumors?
