How long is Swisher going to be out?

[0] Havn't seen the Moneyball movie. PS Hoffman played Art Howe, looks nothing like him!

Cespedes can mash it..ballplayers can be so lame though. If you hit a ball like that why not admire it? Pitcher doesn't want to get "shown up", then don't hang a meatball over the plate..

Tumbleweeds & Crickets...people have something better to do on a Saturday night than watch the Yankees??! Lazy Sunday morning here..

Hope a Yankee hits a ball to that kid with the sign..more likely Hughes gives up a bomb out there though..

Hughes facing Trout/Trumbo/Pujols or Cabrera/Fielder in the playoffs is a scary thought..

Snider with a diving catch for out #2 in the ninth for Boston, which now has lost 7-3 to Toronto. I'll enjoy walking around town tomorrow.

Great announcing by Singleton & Cone there, they called it perfectly on the changeup.

[3] P.S.: Does it matter? It's P.S. Hoffman... Dustin Hoffman could have done Art Howe better than Art Howe >;)

[10] Honestly, not a big PSH fan..a bit too "I'm ACTING!" for my tastes..in small doses (Lebowski, Boogie Nights, Ripley) he's great though.

A-Rod's stealing this year has been surprising.
Can't take there Teix!!

Damn, Jones had his swing there but just missed it.

Well, that was not surprising. A's pitching has just been superb..three game losing streak for the Yanquis. Me no like.

Oh well, time to hit the Brazil festival in the park for BBQ and samba. Good Night, no one!

[17] Good night chair, good night brush. Good night to the old woman whispering "hush."

Sorry I didn't join you, Jazz. I had a good MLB feed going and I didn't want to jinx it.

But I guess I ended up jinxing Robbie somehow. I was contemplating playing him in Beat the Streak, then I decided that might jinx him, but I'm wondering if those thoughts reached the baseball gods and jinxed him anyway.

Oh well.
