And This is Something Funky to Pump in Your Walkman

Via Strictly Cassette, check out this nifty item. I’ve got boxes of mixes and mix-tape shows I’d like to convert…

Just realized that my mixed tapes are at least 25 years old. But don't need the converter, as I still have the vinyl. Do need a new needle for the record player though.

Are you serious? My brother gave my crates and crates of cassettes to convert for him, I need this!

This is out of stock right now at the site linked above. You can get it through B&H but they need to order away for it, takes 7-14 days to arrive.

Do they have one of those for 8-tracks? ;-)

I still have a functional cassette player in my crib and hundreds of tapes, including Phat Ass Beats volumes 1-57. While it would be nice to have those beats converted to mp3, somehow I feel the cassette is still the proper format for them. Call me an analogphile.
