Gather close, listen carefully…Ken Dawidoff breaks the news.

He's never going to retire.
 Fine by me. ;)
 Mo neither, right?
That image captures Pettitte's delivery so well.
It's almost like he climbs a small hill every time through.
Hey, this brought Weeping out of hiding!
This is great news.
I was one of the guys who was thrilled last year when it seemed there was a loud chorus of "he's taking a spot from one of the kids" on here and elsewhere. I like kids, but I like Andy better. David Phelps (or whoever) will get his turn, but those guys gotta earn a spot. Andy has, and then some.
Maybe Santa will bring a #46 shirt down the chimney this year.
Rare happy moment in a boring offseason. Also, am avoiding all the baseball sights now that the HOF issue is popping up..Not seeing Bonds & Clemens get voted is just ridiculous.
If one of those kids throws sub-3.00 with 15 wins and 180 innings pitched by August, then we can discuss why Andy's taking his spot...
andy is a golden god!!!
weeping! : )
