I don’t know what kind of bug hit me but something sure as hell did. I’m home sick today so I won’t be blogging. But I’ll be back soon.

I'm recovering from something the nurse practitioner (doctors were all busy) didn't want to diagnose, but was going to treat the same as pneumonia. OK, fine, whatever infection I had is gone, and I'm feeling better, but had to take today off due to the side effects of the various meds I'm on (including dizziness.)

Oh, and I couldn't do anything athletic while taking the anti-biotic, as that specific one has increased risk of tendon damage.

お大事に、Alex! Get well soon.
22C(71F) degrees and sunny here today, I'm pulling out my dark blue #42 Rivera t-shirt to wear proudly.

While you're out having a great time pretending to be sick, Jeter is has regressed to "day-to-day."

I swear he's the only guy in the history of MLB who gets away with answering stupid media questions with, "What do you think?"

13 Chris   ~  Mar 19, 2013 4:20 pm

First Jeter was "not concerned" because he was told he could expect this generalized ankle pain.

Now Jennings says he is going to see the doctor and quotes Girardi as saying "We've got to find out what we're dealing with..."

I think I'm starting to panic.

Something of interest to those of you who work for one company maybe...

[14] That is sick and disgusting and all too typical. Just appalling.

[14] I hope that includes the owners, who are non-uniformed personnel.

It's kind of like Congress, trying to eliminate Medicare and trim Social Security, but keeping their own gov pensions.

And Uncle Sam has the gall to tax those of us who live overseas.

Jazz, all I can say is Fuck U S A.

If anything, I would start pushing for the elimination of the anti-trust exemption if this happened...
