TV Theme Song of the Week:

Okay, we need a better title but thought it’d be fun to highlight a catchy TV theme song each week round here.

Lil’ help with a title?

Ah! Sense memory overload!

I'm garbage with titles, so I don't think I'll even try. Thanks for the song though.

Dude. Bailey. She's all I can think about.

Bailey was the hotness.

How about "Those Were the Days"

I always think of old TV themes songs, Archie and Edith come first and foremost. That being said, did it get any better than the Barney Miller theme? Nope.

[5] Barney Miller, Taxi, Night Court, Cheers, Marcus Welby MD, The Young & The Restless...

Beat of Yesterday?

As to Bailey: Standout. But she quit acting, married Brolin, and then there was this story:

Bailey was the hotness.

No kidding. The Loni Anderson character was supposed to be the "babe" but Bailey was the one that grabbed me.

Yet another example of Hollywood/TV casting in which a woman with glasses is the "plain" one. Then when she finally removes the glasses it's "why Miss Haversham.... you're beautiful!"

Jan Smithers came to fame as a random teenager shown on the cover of Newsweek in a story about youth in 1966. http://goo.gl/VfRNPV
