Do the Tighten Up

TEXIRERA

If there is a bigger question mark for the Yankees this year than the health of Mark Teixeira I’d like to know what it is.

Sure, there’s Jeter’s health too, and C.C. Sabathia, and David Robertson as closer, and what’s what at second and third…OK, fine: there’s a bunch of things to gnaw over.

But Teixeira, man, I just don’t have a good feeling.

That's why I'm not tooptimistic about the season. When you've got questions marks at all four IF positions, it's not good.

Reynolds would have been nice insurance. This team is built to get lucky. Or not. I still say they're going to the playoffs.
The two guys I'm counting on are Jeter and Tanaka. If those guys bounce the right way, it will be a very enjoyable season.

Those couple a first three things I don't worry too much about. Sabathia, Robertson, and Jeter I think will all BASICALLY be fine. Tex, second, and third though...I'm gonna need some TUMS.

Thing is, I don't have that good of a feeling about Teix even if he is healthy. I mean, his numbers weren't exactly trending the right way before his injury.
