And for today--let's go Mets!

[2] I'm rooting for Shake Shack >;)

[2] The Grandy-Man CAN'T!!! 0 -2, 2 K's. At this rate, he'll have 500 Ks for the season, pretty sure that'll be a record.

BTW, WTF is Keith Hernandez wearing?

3) Ohhhhhh, Shake Shack.

This Mets team is very likable. And for

Some unknown reason the Shake Shack at Citifield over salts the burgers.

[7] That's a no-no for sure. I like the one at Grand Central; the lines are not as long and I can always sneak over to Junior's if they are.

Maybe we can ask them not to put salt on them; perhaps they are trying to make you thirsty so you buy more drinks. Very likely being a ballpark where major money is made by concession sales.

Oh, tough 9th inning for Bobby P.

Whoa, how did we miss this? Ace is back in the fold on a minor league deal. I dunno what he may have left, but I sure would have liked to have kept him. Seems like guys get hurt in the Yanks system and go play somewhere else and recover more often than not, but I'm probably seeing things.

guys, feast your eyes on this. Sure it has question marks, sure it has the potential to fall apart. But it's a real live major league lineup...something we didn't see that much of last year. It's a nice thing, guys.

Jacoby Ellsbury CF
Derek Jeter SS
Carlos Beltran RF
Brian McCann C
Mark Teixeira 1B
Alfonso Soriano DH
Brett Gardner LF
Brian Roberts 2B
Kelly Johnson 3B

Reds - Cardinals. It took me 3 pitches before I told Kruk to STFU. : ) Whoo-hoo. Happy Baseball!

Ugh, rough start for the Mets.

[11] Second base is just all wrong...

[15] Speaking of which, Cano is making his Mariners' debut ... batting 3rd, with no one on base in front of him, something I think will haunt him quite a bit up in Seattle ...

[14] I agree ... Al B can you help us layfolk get to know this new cast of characters a little better? Banterers? Over half the team is totally new to me. Are we ever gonna get that 1996 feeling again?
