Back to back pathetic games against the terrible Astros. This team needs to be rebuilt around it's pitching over the next two years. Pineda looked great, and even if Tanaka has surgery, 2016 should be exciting. The relief pitching is pretty solid. The offense stinks. With the exception of Ellsbury (who should be batting first) and Girtner (who should be batting third), I don't see anyone I'd like to keep. Jeter will be gone (thanks for the memories), A-Roid may be back (ugh). I don't see anyone who should be kept, (maybe Tex, but he's become fragile). Disappointing that, in the crunch, they proved themselves pretenders, not contenders.

Awful, awful and most awful.

At least Jeter will help to fill the seats for the last games.

I would get Tanaka that surgery now and not screw around.

What is most disappointing is that Mo last year and Jeter this year had to go out with these playoff-less seasons.
