This is where CC has to step up and gut it out.

Come on big man. Do it for Tex, do it for Eovaldi, do it for Gardy, do it for Scooter. (You have to throw Rizutto in there, as he has the perfect "do it for" name.)

Let's take the skin boat to tuna town, and knock those O's d..ks in the dirt?

Whose with me?

Nice hands, Drew.

3 MSM35   ~  Sep 9, 2015 6:14 pm

If Drew can't field what good is he. With the shift he can't get hit unless he hits it out.

4 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 6:16 pm

Just let the dogs out and come back and we're down a run already?

5 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 6:23 pm

Carlos! Makes up for the top of the inning

6 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 6:24 pm

Nice.

7 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 6:30 pm

Damn. Sweet catch.

8 MSM35   ~  Sep 9, 2015 6:31 pm

CC at 91. Is that enough?

9 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 6:56 pm

Good steal, me.

10 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 6:58 pm

Carlos again!

11 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:09 pm

The anti-shutdown inning?

12 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:15 pm

Phew

13 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:15 pm

Didi dazzles. Zip!

14 MSM35   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:16 pm

Papi homers 4-0

15 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:20 pm

Short bottom. Rats.

16 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:25 pm

Warren up? Hmmm

17 MSM35   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:26 pm

He really doesnt't have much.

18 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:34 pm

Short leash

19 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:37 pm

Oh for fuck's sake

20 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:38 pm

OH, GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!

21 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:38 pm

Give both those fucking clowns an error. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

22 GaryfromChevyChase   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:40 pm

So drew goes even more negative WAR. I was starting to think he had something to offer. I can't imagine him in pinstripes next year.

23 GaryfromChevyChase   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:45 pm

Know how the Sox refer to bucky effing dent? We have Steven effing Drew. Am I overboard on this? Especially with the Sox beating the Jays now.

24 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:48 pm

[23] I want to take him into the woods, leaving only a trail of bread crumbs.

No Refsnyder?

25 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:50 pm

Steven Drew having a nightmare. Us too. The only thing that can be said is that he has been responsible for a few comeback wins that if didn't happen would have possibly buried the Yankees.

The team must pick it up, and win this game.

26 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 9, 2015 7:59 pm

Oh why did Cano opt for oblivian and mediocrity? Whatever the Mariners paid him over the Yankees offer, he would have doubled it staying in NY with endorsements. He would have been the #1 face nationally in the Latin market, and probably #1 in NY overall.

He used to be considered as one of the best position players in the game. Anyone talking about him now?

27 coleman42   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:03 pm

[26] Cano would've made that play every time.

28 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:05 pm

[27] more than that, this team would be cruising in first place with Cano.

29 coleman42   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:06 pm

[28] he's probably thinking the same thing.

30 MSM35   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:07 pm

I think we have seen the last of Mr. Drew. Joe always played him for his defense. If that goes what's left?

31 RIYank   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:07 pm

Booooooooo.

(For the IBB.)

32 coleman42   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:10 pm

Steady Eddie Warren! (That was Eddie Lopat's nickname).

33 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:10 pm

Anyone else hold their breath when DiDi's throw went to Drew?

34 MSM35   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:12 pm

[32] Lefty, couldn't break a pane of glass.

35 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:17 pm

Yay, Dustin!

36 coleman42   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:19 pm

[34] Eddie threw "stuff," as Mel Allen would say. Closest thing to a knuckleballer.

37 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:20 pm

I hate wasted doubles.

38 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:25 pm

Modammit

39 GaryfromChevyChase   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:25 pm

Fuck

40 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:26 pm

Put it on a fucking tee.

41 coleman42   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:29 pm

Adam Ant steady enough.

42 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:31 pm

This game is one ugly feeling right now.

Bird's play at least a positive...

Wake up Yankees, the opportunity is NOW.

43 MSM35   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:31 pm

Yanks hold leads but rarely come back in the late frames. Hope this on is different.

44 RIYank   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:35 pm

Holy shit, the Red Sox are beating the tar out of the Blue Jays.
I'm not looking forward to our next trip to Fenway, honestly.

45 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:44 pm

Drew took a Sunday hop off the face and fucked up a catch the average little leaguer makes. That'll be my last thought before bed.

46 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:51 pm

Shaping up to be a great divisional race. Hate playing from behind though

47 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:57 pm

Oy.

48 rbj   ~  Sep 9, 2015 8:57 pm

Shutting the iPad down, night all.

49 coleman42   ~  Sep 9, 2015 9:09 pm

Ugh

50 Alex Belth   ~  Sep 9, 2015 9:11 pm

That was a disgrace.

51 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 9, 2015 9:17 pm

2 straight nights of nut punch losses. Fucking Bollocks!
