One of the first albums I got as a kid. Christmas present from older sister, I thought she was being pretentious, didn't play it for a couple of years (probably 14 at the time) but when I dd, wow.

I even wound up going to Bard College.

rbj, That is Awesome! I've been to that campus. Can see it must have been a swell place to go to school. Yeah, Fagen and Becker were at their peak, compressing things, using fewer overall tracks but having each song be more ochestrated and involved.

Yeah, it was great. All my classes were seminars, no lectures, so you had to have points of view challenged.
