What’s Happening?

Catching up with the Yanks is the ever-excellent Chad Jennings. A good over-view of what’s what on an otherwise slow news day round these parts.

Meanwhile, slide on over to Esquire Classic and check out the little Q&A I did with my pal John Ed Bradley on a story he once wrote for Esky on Lawrence Taylor.

I could welcome Robbie back, but Seattle is going to have to eat a lot, including the last two years of the contract when he's a DH/1B.

Otherwise I'll take a chance with Ref and Dustin.

[1] Seattle would have to eat a whole lot of crow along with that; don't see it happening with the Yanks (and I don't think they even want him back at this point given his age and recent injuries; very contrary to their current rebuild plan). If Robbie does come back to NY, it will most likely be for the Mets, who could definitely use him more than the Yanks as it stands now.
