Walk Tall

Throwing stones

The Yanks gave the O’s a taste of their own comeback medicine yesterday thanks to some lousy pitching from the home team—Yanks 7, O’s 3.

Hey, that Aaron Judge had a nice day, though. Absolutely ripped a single off the left field wall that brought back memories of Gary Sheffield’s merciless line drives. Judge also hit a home run on a ball he didn’t really square up. The man is strong.

Today gives the home opener and it is a gorgeous day in the Bronx.

Dayenu, y’all.

Let’s Go Yank-ees!

rbj - seems like you're feeling better. Thanks for the RBI! Thought you might have made it to 3rd on the throw home, but coming off the flu it makes sense to stay at 2nd.

Yay for home opener win! Boo for losing the Sanchize for a month!
Yay for 'Walk Tall' by Cannonball Adderley! Boo for the flu (I was out with it too rbj.)
Yay for me only flying on Asia-based airlines where they serve good food and don't treat you like cattle! Boo for United and all of corporate-fascist USA airlines!

38 Boatzilla   ~  Apr 10, 2017 8:52 pm

[37] Yay for Mr. OK Jazz. Boo for this nasty Tokyo weather today.
That United thing is forked-up. Remember "Fly the friendly skies"? WTF!

My pick for the Supreme Court of Basbaell, Aaron Judge.
